A Message from Administration

The Champaign Unit #4 School Board wants to hear your voice.  The Board is looking for a Centennial student to be a Student Ambassador. You can pick up an application today in the JUNIOR/SENIOR CENTER or the FRESHMAN/SOPHOMORE CENTER.

·        Applications are due to Mr. Neitzel in the Main Office by Monday, May 22nd.

Students who receive this recognition have been nominated by their coach for outstanding performance, both on and off the field.

Attention Seniors and graduating Juniors, Please make sure to turn in the Post Grad plan form (blue) and Senior Evaluation form (green) to the Main Office by the end of the day.  They need to be turned in together as part of your graduation clearance.  

Students taking AP US History next year need to come to an after school meeting on Monday, May 22nd or Tuesday, the 23rd in rooms 213 and 217 to discuss the class as well as the required summer assignment. If you have any questions, please see Mr. Sikora in room 213 or Ms. McMenamin. Again, that's after school Monday or Tuesday in room 213 or 217 for students taking APUSH next year.

Mandatory Meeting for AP Macro Economics students with Mr. Meagher in room #219 after school on Thursday, May 18th.  All students signed up for Spring 2018 will attend.  If you cannot make it to the meeting, it is your responsibility to meet with Mr. Meagher on your own before Summer Break.

Are you interested in running Cross Country next year?  Come to an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 23rd at 3:30 in room 119.  You will learn about the team and training plans for the summer. If you are unable to make the meeting contact Coach Black (boys) or Coach Buss (girls).

Attention Juniors, This is a reminder that, the Illinois Immunization code requires that all students entering 12th grade show proof of receiving two doses of the meningitis vaccine prior to entering 12th grade.  Please make sure you get your vaccine and have the proof of it ready to turn in by September 1, 2017.  If you have any questions see Mrs. Royse in the Main Office.

Please come support the Centennial Dance team FREE Car Wash on Saturday May 20th from 12:30-2:30 pm at Prospect Bank on 1601 South Prospect Ave, Champaign. Donations are greatly appreciated. 

If you were part of the boys track and field team this season, remaining equipment will be collected Monday after school.  Bring your bag, uniforms, sweats, warmups and lock to the back of the PE locker room to turn into Coach Easter after school on Monday.  Again, that's boys track equipment turn in day... Monday, May 22nd right after school!

Want to learn more about relationships, getting a job, and money? Join a CARE4U group next year! Come to an informational meeting on Tuesday, May 23 in the Blue White Conference room during all lunch periods! – Bring your lunch and we’ll have cookies and give-aways!

The last day for PE make-ups will be Tuesday (5/23), both before school and after school.  Students will need to be dressed in their PE clothes and ready to go on the track or student entrance stairwell (in the case of inclement weather) by 7:30am and/or 3:30pm. An intercom announcement will be made as to the exact location. Before school, students should come through the student entrance to access the locker rooms.
