Clubs and Activities

  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid will open on this Sunday, October 1st. If you are thinking about how to pay for college, the FAFSA is one of the ways you can find money for your education. Please contact Mr. Chun for more information.

  • Hey Centennial! Interact is hosting its annual Chili- Supper before homecoming game tonight from 5:30-7:00 pm in the cafeteria. Ticket are $5.00 and can be bought from an Interact member or at the door. Come enjoy all you can eat chili and desserts!

  • Friday, September 29th is flaming friendship Friday! Find a best buddy member to get your flaming chips and sour patch kids!

  • PE make-ups will be taking place on Tuesday, October 3rd both before and after school. Students will need to be dressed in their PE clothes and ready to go on the track for student entrance stairwell (in the case of inclement weather) by 7:30 am and or 3:30 pm. An intercom announcement will be made as to the exact location. Before school, students should come through the student entrance to access the locker rooms.

  • Please join Fellowship of Christian Athletes on Monday morning’s at 7:30 am in room 119. Join us for games, great discussion, and snacks.

  • Homecoming Tickets will be on sale today during lunch hours 4th and 5th for $5.00. Tickets WILL NOT be sold during 6th hour lunch or after school today! You must be cleared from social probation to purchase a ticket. A date form is needed prior to purchase if you wish to bring a date from another school.

  • The Centennial Apple Tasting is Back! Do you have a favorite apple?Or would you like to find a new favorite apple? EVERYONE is invited to a FREE apple tasting this Wednesday, October 4th, at 3:30 pm in room 104, (the Art Room). Mrs. Heather Miller will be educating us on different varieties of apples, then we will enjoy free samples. Please sign up on clipboard by door in room 115(or email Mrs. Pruski) by Tuesday, October 3rd, so we have enough delicious apples.

  • GSA will have a poster making activity after school Tuesday, October 3rd in room 104 for LGTBQ History month. Bring a friend and your ideas.

  • The Parkland CTE Open House is a great hands-on way to see different careers choices such as automotive, aviation, electrical power, engineering, horticulture, and much more! The field trip will be from the end of 1st hour to 6th hour. This opportunity is only open for junior and seniors, and lunch and free T-shirt will be provided. Field trip forms can be found at the College and Career Center and are due by October 3rd, but please turn it in as earlier as you can because spots are limited!! Please talk to Mr. Chun if you have any questions!

  • As a reminder, applications for Youth Employment Service are available in the College and Career Center. The deadline to return completed applications is this Friday, September 29thand spots will be given on first come, first serve basis. Come learn all the skills needed to be a great employee and then earn some money next summer!

  • The Writing Center is hosting 2 junior/senior focused workshop for college application letter writing. Sessions will be held on Tuesday, October 3rd and Thursday, October 5th in the Writing Center (room 228) from 3:30-4:30 pm. There is no sign up required, but you may want to have a draft for the workshopping portion of the session.

    College and Career

    College visits have started at Centennial! Colleges and other post-secondary institutions will be visiting our school to give you more information about what they are all about! To sign up for the visit, please go to the College and Career Center, and please check the calendar on the website to see who is coming in the future!
