Clubs and Activities

  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid will open on Sunday, October 1st. If you are thinking about how to pay for college, the FAFSA is one of the ways you can find money for your education. Please contact Mr. Chun for more information.

  • The Writing Center is hosting 2 junior/senior focused workshops for college application letter writing. Sessions will be held on Tuesday, October 3rdandThursday, October 5th in the Writing Center (room 228) from 3:30-4:30 pm. There is no sign up required, but you may want to have a draft for the workshopping portion of the session.

  • Aaron Chun of Centennial’s College and Careers Office is the scheduled speaker at the Parent-Teacher-Student Association meeting tonight at 6:30 pm in the White Conference Room, next to the Freshmen/Sophomore Counseling office.

  • Homecoming Tickets will be on sale Wednesday, September 27th – September 29th during all lunches and after school in the main lobby for $5.00. Tickets will NOT be sold on Friday during 6th hour lunch or after school. You must be cleared from social probation to purchase a ticket. A date form is needed prior to purchase if you wish to bring a date from another school.

  • Vote for Homecoming King & Queen as well as your grade level Homecoming Attendants! Ballots are posted in your grade level Goggle Classroom!

  • Attention Apple Lovers - The Charger 4-H will have its next meeting TODAY after school at 3:30 pm in room 115. We will discuss the Apple Tasting on October 4th, National 4H Week Activities and two field trips possibilities. Anyone is welcome to attend. See Mrs. Pruski with questions.

  • GSA will have a general meeting this Thursday September 28th in room 104 at 7:30 am. Bring your friends and your ideas!

  • The Parkland CTE Open House is a great hands-on way to see different careers choices such as automotive, aviation, electrical power, engineering, horticulture, and much more! The field trip will be from the end of 1st hour to 6th hour. This opportunity is only open for junior and seniors, and lunch and free T-shirt will be provided. Field trip forms can be found at the College and Career Center and are due by October 3rd, but please turn it in as earlier as you can because spots are limited!! Please talk to Mr. Chun if you have any questions!

  • As a reminder, applications for Youth Employment Service are available in the College and Career Center. The deadline to return completed applications is this Friday, September 29thand spots will be given on first come, first serve basis. Come learn all the skills needed to be a great employee and then earn some money next summer!

    College visits have started at Centennial! Colleges and other post-secondary institutions will be visiting our school to give you more information about what they are all about! To sign up for the visit, please go to the College and Career Center, and please check the calendar on the website to see who is coming in the future!
