Clubs and Activities

  • The Free Application for Federal Student Aid will open on Sunday, October 1st. If you are thinking about how to pay for college, the FAFSA is one of the ways you can find money for your education. Please contact Mr. Chun for more information.

  • The Writing Center will be open Tuesday and Thursday in room 228 from 3:30-4:30 pm. At the Writing Center, Students at any stage of the writing process can receive writing tutoring in any subject.

  • The Writing Center is hosting 2 junior/senior focused workshops for college application letter writing. Sessions will be held on Tuesday, October 3rdandThursday, October 5th in the Writing Center (room 228) from 3:30-4:30 pm. There is no sign up required, but you may want to have a draft for the workshopping portion of the session.

  • Need a dress for Homecoming? Attend the Dress and Heels Event on Monday, September 25th from 6:30- 9:00 pm at the Champaign Public Library in Robeson Pavilion Room B. All dresses and shoes are free. If you have any questions contact Mrs. Bonam.

  • Youth Employment Services has applications available! Program events begin next month, so now is the time to apply since spots are limited. YES provides support whether you are seeking your first job or are already employed. First- time applicants must be part of the Free/Reduced lunch program. All applicants must meet certain eligibility levels in the attendance and GPA. Applications can be found in the College and Career Center. If you have any questions, the program supervision will be in the College and Career Center on Thursdays during all lunch periods

  • Aaron Chun of Centennial’s College and Careers Office is the scheduled speaker at the Parent-Teacher-Student Association meeting on Tuesday, September 26th at 6:30 pm in the White Conference Room, next to the Freshmen/Sophomore Counseling office.

  • Rattle the Stars is having a meeting today at 3:30 pm in room 230. We will be getting organized for our first Awareness Week and fall semester events. Please join us, all are welcome!

  • Homecoming Tickets will be on sale Wednesday, September 27th – September 29th during all lunches and after school in the main lobby for $5.00. Tickets will NOT be sold on Friday during 6th hour lunch or after school. You must be cleared from social probation to purchase a ticket. A date form is needed prior to purchase if you wish to bring a date from another school.

  • Attention Apple Lovers - The Charger 4-H will have its next meeting on Tuesday, September 25th at 3:30 pm in room 115. We will discuss the Apple Tasting on October 4th, National 4H Week Activities and two field trips possibilities. Anyone is welcome to attend. See Mrs. Pruski with questions.

    College and Career

    College visits have started at Centennial! Colleges and other post-secondary institutions will be visiting our school to give you more information about what they are all about! To sign up for the visit, please go to the College and Career Center, and please check the calendar on the website to see who is coming in the future!
