Upcoming Clubs and Activities Events

  • Congratulations to Cajaun Johnson, Cam Nesbitt, and Dontaice Roberson for qualifying for the State Wrestling Tournament. Cajaun is the first ever freshman to qualify for state in wrestling at Centennial. Cam and Dontaice will be making their second trip to the State Farm

  • Any girls interested in playing soccer this spring should plan to attend a meeting on Wednesday, February 13 in Room 119. 

  • If you have not gotten a new sticker to ride on the MTD bus you must have it TODAY!

  College and Career Event:

The following institutions will be visiting Centennial next week. Please note that all students can attend a college visit, and must sign up at least the school day before to attend. Students must have permission from the teacher whose class they will be missing, as well as their parent/guardians to attend, and will be responsible for any missing work. Students can sign up for visits on Naviance, or can talk to Mr. Chun at the College and Career Center.  

Tuesday, Feb 12:

7th hour- Paul Mitchell School in Normal (Cosmetology) 

Wednesday, Feb. 13: 

4th hour- Northern Illinois University 

The Early Transfer Academy (ETA) Information Session has been rescheduled to Monday, February 25th, 2019 – 6:30 PM at Parkland College Student Union – Room U140. Please go to parkland.edu/eta to RSVP. 

The deadline for Dual Credit paperwork for the 2019-2020 school year has been extended to February 15th.  The Parkland College Application needs to be turned into Mr. Chun in the College and Career Center.  Students who have not completed the application by Feb 15th will be dropped from their Dual Credit course for the 2019-2020 school year.
