Clubs and Activities

  • Nervous about finals? Always worrying about something? Want to learn more about what makes you feel nervous and how to help? Rattle the Stars is hosting a panel to discuss anxiety on Wednesday, December 6 at 3:45 am in room119. The panel will consist of experts from Centennial, a licensed social worker, and the U of I. Please join us to learn more about this important issue and available resources. Wednesday will also serve as Anxiety Awareness Day, so show your support by wearing teal or light blue.

  • Have you expressed interest in Spanish Honor Society? Please get your unofficial transcripts and membership fee to Ms. Bednar in Room 225 by TODAY.

  • The Spectrum Talent Show is a schoolwide show open to everyone who wants to showcase their talents! If you are interested in auditioning or want to help out backstage, please join us for the Spectrum Info Meeting on Wednesday, December 13th. There will be a meeting at 8:30 and one at 3:30 in room 203. Auditions for Spectrum will be January 9th and 10th, and the show will be Friday, January 19th and Saturday, January 20th. Questions?   • The young Entrepreneur Program is a great way to connect with successful business leaders, to help you plan for a business you want to create! Applications are due TODAY, to the College and Career Center, and if you want more information, please contact Mr. Anderson or Mr. Chun!

  • Calling all singers, dancers, rappers, musicians, comedians etc! It’s almost that time! The most anticipated high school Talent Show in Champaign Urbana! This year’s theme is “Black ish” and we will be celebrating classic black TV shows and Movies. African American Culture Club will be holding tryouts on December6th and 7th from 3:30-4:30 in room 127. Please sign up for your tryout time slot outside of room 127 no later than Monday, December 4th. If you have any questions see Mrs. Thomas after school in room 127

  • If you are a student with an IEP or 504 and would like to request testing accommodations for AP Exams, you must let Mrs. Lee (in JR/SR Center) know TODAY.

  • The Girls Track & Field Team will have preseason conditioning from 3:38-4:38 on Tuesday and Thursdays. Come get ready for track season on December 5th, 7th, 12th and 14th. We will meet by the athletic office.

  • Attention Students: If you are meeting with a teacher, club or sport after school, you need to be there by 3:30 pm. At 3:45 pm all students not with teacher or a club, need to leave the building. Students waiting for a ride may wait in the main entrance or student entrance stairs.
