Clubs and Activities

  • This a reminder to all those eligible to participate in the Academic Award night to please RSVP with the Main office by today. Please note the night of the ceremony has changed to Wednesday, November 15th.

  • Centennial Interact Club will be hosting a drive for Courage Connections. Donation boxes will be set up in the Library, attendance office and main office. Interact will be collecting Chap-stick, socks, deodorant and blankets. All donations will go to help families in transition due to domestic violence. The drive will run through November 21st.

  • Best Buddies will meet in the communication center for their monthly full body meeting today at 3:30pm after school and Thursday, November 9th before school. You only have to attend one of the meetings. Please see an exec member or Ms. Davies or Ms. Bedwell with any questions.

  • The Martin Luther King Jr. Expressions competition is looking for students who submit a work of essays, poems, songs, short stories, drawings, painting, mixed media, sculpture, or multimedia presentations about justice, community and Dr. King’s dream. More guidelines can be found on the College and Career Website! Submissions are due Friday, December 8th! And the winners will be honored at a luncheon next semester!

  • Centennial’s Ping Pong Tournament is here again! This time it’s a doubles’ tournament, so grab a buddy and sign up! There’s a $4.00 fee per team but the winner each take home an Amazon Gift Card! Mark your calendars for Friday, November 17th after school from 3:30-6:00 pm.

  • STEMX is on November 11, 2017 at the Material Science and Engineering Building, Room 100 (1304 W. Green Street, Urbana) from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm. It is a day long program that exposes STEM- related fields to high school students through workshops, activities, and a design competition.   • Math Peer Tutoring is available Tuesday and Thursday afternoon in room 236, from 3:30 – 4:30 pm., Wednesday morning tutoring in the IMC from 8:00- 8:50 am! Wednesday afternoon from 3:30- 4:30 pm in room 239.
