No School   Wednesday, November 27- Friday, November 29   Thanksgiving Break

Upcoming Clubs and Activities Events:

  • PE make-ups will be taking place today both before and after school. Student will need to be dressed in PE clothes and ready to be on the track or north gym deck (in case of inclement weather) by 7:30 am and or 3:30 pm. An intercom announcement will be made as to the exact location. Before school, students should come through the main entrance
  • Just a reminder that the Charger Apparel Store will Close December 1st.  There are many items under $15 just in time for Holiday Shopping!  Orders will be passed out at school, so have it shipped to your home if it is a surprise.  Orders should be ready around Dec 16th.  
  • Are you interested in peace? Ms. Hindes and Ms. Hutchison are taking 13 students on a Peace Pilgrimage to Atlanta Georgia this spring. These students will have the honor of becoming trained in nonviolence at the Martin Luther King Jr. Center and present their findings to our community. If you are interested in finding out more information and becoming one of these leaders please contact either teacher before December 1st. 
  • Track and Field season will be starting soon!  If you are interested in being a part of the girls track and field team this year, please make plans to attend a brief meeting on Tuesday, December 3rd after school.  We will meet in room 211 at 3:30 pm.  If you are involved in a winter sport and cannot make the meeting, please contact Coach Buss before December3rd.

College and Career Events:        

The Housing Authority of Champaign County had three scholarships from $5000-$7000 for seniors with a B average, and residing in the housing program. The application is on Naviance and it is due January 31, 2020. Please talk to Mr. Chun if you have any questions.

 Congratulations to Hannah Hong on her 7th place finish in diving at this past weekend state meet.

Please congratulate Hannah Hong on being named our Athlete of the Week. Hannah finished 7th in this past weekend's IHSA State Diving Meet. Beyond the great finish at the State Meet, Hannah had an outstanding season. Throughout the year, she set many pool records including the Centennial Pool Record and Centennial school record. Congrats on an outstanding season. 

Also, take the opportunity to read through some of Adam Tarr's best memories at Centennial. Adam has been our trainer for over 10 years. He does a great job serving our students and coaches at Centennial.
