Clubs and Activities

  • Congratulations to the Centennial Girl’s Swim Team on their victory at sectionals this Saturday. And even more congratulations to our state bound girls, Lizzie Gile, Lauren Federson, Izzy Seten, and Megan Bernacchi, and the alternate Pranali Vani in Swimming. As well as Lizzy Rumsey in Diving. Together they qualified in 8 out of 12 events. Good job girls!

  • Choose kindness will have a general meeting after school today, in room 219.We will be discussing how to make Centennial a more positive, inclusive, and uplifting place! If you have any questions, please contact Ms. Yoon.

  • Share in ritual over one thousand year old and join us in the Library today after school for an introduction to Japanese Tea Ceremony with students of Tea Ceremony from theUniversity of Illinois’s Japan House. This is open to all students and staff and will begin promptly at 3:30 pm so arrive a little early for a good seat.

  • If you are a student with an IEP or 504 and would like to request testing accommodations for AP Exams, you must see Mrs. Lee (in JR/SR Center) by Friday, December 1st.

  • GSA will be having a meeting this Thursday, November 16th in room 104 at 7:30 am.

  • GSA will be having a bake sale this Friday, November 17 in the foyer before and after school.

  • Please support CHS Mock Trial team and enjoy hot drinks, pie, cookie, granola bars, ramen and many more! We will be selling them on Friday, November 17th, at the main lobby.

  • Are you a student with connections to Bangalore, India? If so, please stop by to see Frau Malloy in Room 220 in the next few days. Thanks!

  • Will our planet look the same in 100 years? How would you like to submit a small object, piece of art, or letter, and place it in a time capsule in D.C. that will be dug up in 100 years? Charger 4-H is collecting artifacts to mail this Friday. Look for collection boxes in classrooms mentioned on posters around school.

  • There will be an informational meeting for new members of SPanish Honor Society on Thursday, November 16th after school in Room 225. Students must be in at least SPanish III and demonstrate high success in their Spanish classes. See Ms. Bednar with any questions.

  • Centennial Interact Club will be hosting a drive for Courage Connections. Donation boxes will be set up in the Library, Attendance Office, and Main Office. Interact will be collecting Chap-stick, socks, deodorant, and blankets. All donations will go to help families in transition due to domestic violence. The drive will run through Tuesday, November 21st.

  • Seniors: If you did not come and fill out the card for your name on your diploma and measurements for your graduation gown with Josten’s, when they were here in October. Please stop by the main office before and after school or during your lunch hour.
