Clubs and Activities

  • Mark your Calendar! Picture Retakes will be Wednesday, October 18th, during PE classes. If you need a picture form you may pick up one up in the main office.

  • It is National 4-H Week. The mission is: Adventure –Join the Team. Change the World. 4-H empowers young people to dream about better tomorrows and the tools to reach it. Fun Fact: A century ago, there were thousands of apple varieties in the U.S. Today, most supermarket offer a handful. Red delicious is the most grown variety – 53,178,000 bushels are grown in the U.S. annually.

  • ARCHERS or Anyone interested in becoming part pf the Centennial Archery Team should attend the informational meeting this Thursday, October 5th, after school in the library. YOU DO NOT NEED TO KNOW HOW TO SHOOT. WE WILL TEACH YOU! The meeting will be short and a tryout schedule will be provided. If you have any questions, please see Coach Lenz in the Library.

  • The deadline for Mu Alpha Theta applications and fees is Friday, October 6th. No applications or fees will be accepted after Friday, October 6th. Get your material to Mrs. Miller or Mr. Bagniefski.

  • Last call for Homecoming shirts! If you missed the chance to order a class shirt or have not paid for yours, we have extras! Please see Ms. Bednar in Room 225 to purchase a shirt this week.

  • Are you interested in international affairs?Are you interested in global citizenship? Become delegates and represent your countries through Model United Nations. Our first informational meetings will be held in room 213, at 3:30 on Thursday, October 5th. For more information please see Ms. McMenamin.

  • The Centennial Apple Tasting is TODAY! Do you have a favorite apple? Or would you like to find a new favorite apple? EVERYONE is invited to a FREE apple tasting TODAY, at 3:30 pm in room 104, the Art Room. Mrs. Heather Miller will be educating us on different varieties of apples, then we will all enjoy free samples.

  • The Writing Center is hosting 2 junior/senior focused workshop for college application letter writing. Sessions will be held Thursday, October 5th in the Writing Center (room 228) from 3:30-4:30 pm. There is no sign up required, but you may want to have a draft for the workshopping portion of the session.

    College and Career

    College visits have started at Centennial! Colleges and other post-secondary institutions will be visiting our school to give you more information about what they are all about! To sign up for the visit, please go to the College and Career Center, and please check the calendar on the website to see who is coming in the future!
