- It is National 4-H Week. This year’s mission is: Inspire Kids to Do. 4-H is a worthy program which seeks to provide a learning experience for the whole child, by providing youth a greater sense of belonging, more independence, enhanced generosity, and mastery of a skill in an area of their choosing. Fun Fact: One pound of wool can make 10 miles of yarn. There are 150 yards (450 feet) of wool yarn in a baseball.
