Clubs and Activities

  • Congratulations to the Charger Archery Team on their win at the Schwieghart Shootout at Jefferson Middle School on Saturday. The Charger placed 1st in the high school division. Tristan Summers placed 8th for high school boys. For the girls Cayla Risinger placed 7th, Rachael Ormsby placed 4th, Maria Heller placed 3rd and Haylie Denzer placed 1st. Haylie also won the Overall Female Archer Award. The Charger will host their first archery tournament this Saturday here at Centennial. There will be over 500 archers from all over the state shooting throughout the day. The tournament starts at 8:00 am and the Chargers will start their shooting at 1:00 pm. Come join us

  • Chado, Japanese Tea Ceremony, is returning TODAY in the library. Representatives from Japan House of the University of Illinois will share this traditional Japanese art. This is free and open to everyone. You’ll want to grab a good seat! Today, at 3:30 pm in the library.

  • The Chargers Archery Team will host their very first archery tournament this Saturday here at Centennial. There will be over 500 archers from all over the state shooting throughout the day. The tournament starts at 8:00 am and the Charger will start their shooting at 1:00 pm. There is a small entry fee at the door. Concessions and raffles will also be available. Come join us!

  • Looking to shower your friends with Valentines? What better way than with fresh flowers delivered on February 14th  

    Dance Marathon will be selling carnations for $2.00 each. Send a note and a flower to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. Come to room 236 to purchase your flowers. Add a message for free.

  • Math Peer Tutoring is up and running for Semester 2! Peer tutors are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday after school from 3:30-4:15 pm. Tuesday and Thursday are in room 236 and Wednesday is in room 239. Come on in and get that math done!

  • REMINDER:  If you still have an orange fall MTD sticker you need to go to the Attendance office before or after school. Deadline is Monday, February 5th   to have the new sticker to ride the bus.

    College and Career:

    If you are interested in the Social Work field, or would like to meet with a representative from the College of  Social Work at the U of I, please talk to Mr. Chun by this Friday, February 2nd!

    If you are interested in the Early College and Career Academy, please turn in your application, as well as the other material required to Mr. Chun in the College and Career by Thursday, February 1st.
