The Centennial Library Book Club

The Book Club is a forum for students to share and enjoy literature of their choice and to read and discuss the work of their favorite writers and genres. The club promotes reading for fun as a life-time activity through book talks, book reviews, and book related activities (author visits, writing workshops, etc.). Members also make recommendations of books to be added to the Centennial Library collection. The meetings are held on Thursdays, at 3:20 PM, in the Centennial Library and open to any Centennial student.

2015 Book Club Fieldtrip

Each spring the Fiction Addiction Book Club takes a fieldtrip with the Jefferson Middle School Library Book Club. On April 2, 2015 students visited the University of Illinois Library Conservation Laboratory, the long term storage facility and the Center for Children's Books.
